Les Arcs, France Resort Details

Part of the "Paradiski Ski Area" (ie linked with La Plagne) Les Arcs is a relatively snow sure place to ski and is made up of four modern purpose built resorts at 1600, 1800, 1950 and 2000m. Although rather spread out, all of the accommodation offers good access to the skiing. There are a lot of new chalets that have cropped up in Arc 2000 and Plan Peisey which are of a good standard and offer great value for money. Arc 1800 is the largest village and is pretty lively. Especially with the new Vanoise Express linking Les Arcs with La Plagne, the skiing here is good for all abilities from beginners to adrenaline junkies. Most of the nightlife is found in Arc 1800, with a more relaxed feel (although clubs and bars do exist) in the other villages.
