Les Deux Alpes, France Resort Details

At 1650m this resort still ranks as one of the highest resorts in Europe. The town is a modern and lively one, although quite spread out, with several bars to enjoy a touch of apres ski as well as plenty of shops and restaurants to explore. In terms of ski accessability, most chalets here are within easy reach of pistes and lifts. Popular with younger skiers wanting good skiing, lively apres ski and not too pricey. There is a good choice of accommodation to choose from at very reasonable rates. The skiing is good for all abilities - with beginners enjoying the nursery slopes and the gentle slopes on the glacier. Intermediates and above have several challenges to conquer including some amazimg bump fields. For Snowboarders there is one of the best Snow Parks in Europe.
